Voter Registration Drive
Saturday, 17 July 2010, 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. @ the Travis County Democratic Party Coordinated Campaign HQ; 605 West 13th (near ACC Rio Grande Campus)
Join us as we kick off our full-scale voter registration efforts across Travis County! Help register the margin of voters we need to win at all levels of the ballot, from the State House
to the courthouse. Our goal this year is to register new residents in
Travis County, bring back first-time 2008 voters, and increase voter
participation in under performing areas. With your help, we can change
who votes in Texas, and change who wins in November! Join us for
training, and sign up to help every week between now and the October
4th deadline.
9:00 - 10:00 am: Remarks from State Representative Mark Strama, Deputization, and Training by Constable Bruce Elfant and Judge Herb Evans
10:00 am - 1:00 pm: Voter registration in high traffic areas and under-registered apartment complexes, and door hanging in apartment complexes

Sheriff Hamilton is a dedicated public servant and is running for
another term and has been very supportive of the Lake Travis Democrats
over the years. The event organizers have promised a fun lakeside
event for all of the family, so let's turn out and show our support.
